Róisín Ward Morrow is a fiddle player and folk singer from Co. Louth. Her debut album of slow airs, By the Light of the Moon, was launched to a sold-out audience during Fleadh Cheoil 2019 and has been met with great acclaim nationally and internationally. Having grown up in Dundalk amongst a rich tradition of fiddle players and violinists, Róisín earned a BMus (Hons) at the TU Dublin Conservatoire in both traditional fiddle and classical violin. She has toured across Europe multiple times with Belfast tenor Peter Corry and with renowned composer and pianist Carl Hession. Róisín is also a tune composer and is one of seven Irish women to have their tunes published in Tunes from the Women, a book of over 150 contemporary tunes by 100 female composers from Britain and Ireland. Her EP, Whereon She Stands, was recorded with guitarist Breifne Holohan, with whom she has established a long-standing musical partnership.
