Mary began violin at the age of 7 with a local teacher. She graduated with a BMus from Queen's University Belfast under the tutelage of Joanne Quigley. She is a qualified Suzuki violin teacher, having studied with the British Suzuki Association in London. Mary has a great interest in teaching young people and recently completed a PGCE with Canterbury Christ Church University.
