Conal Duffy is an uilleann piper from Dundalk, Co. Louth. He has performed as a soloist with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland and the UCD Symphony Orchestra. Also performing on double bass, he has been a member of the CBOI, UCDSO and Clare Memory Orchestra.

Conal studied the uilleann pipes with Gay McKeon and Seán Óg Potts at Na Píobairí Uilleann. He was awarded the Ad Astra scholarship to further his musicianship while studying Psychology at University College Dublin.

He has performed in London's Royal Albert Hall, New York's Lincoln Center, Shanghai Oriental Arts Centre and across Europe, the UAE, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. He recently returned from a 75-city tour of North America with Celtic Thunder. Conal conducts and arranges for the Nós Nua Louth Folk Orchestra, who have performed for President Michael D. Higgins at the launch of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018 in Drogheda and in the National Concert Hall.
