Peace Proms 2025 — Celebrating 30 Years of Peace Through Music

The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland is proud to present Peace Proms 2025 — a landmark celebration marking 30 years since the CBOI was founded as a peace initiative on the island of Ireland.

Since 1995 the CBOI has united young people from different backgrounds and communities through the medium of music and is recognised internationally as a flagship peace initiative.

Peace Proms 2025 will bring together 35,000 children from 700 primary schools across Ireland and Northern Ireland to perform in a spectacular series of arena concerts. The children will take to the stage alongside the 100-member Cross Border Orchestra under the direction of conductor Greg Beardsell.

This year's programme will feature a special 30th anniversary element celebrating three decades of music, peace and cross-community friendship that has been at the heart of the CBOI's mission since its foundation.

Concerts will take place at the following iconic venues:

• SSE Arena, Belfast

• Simmonscourt Arena, RDS, Dublin

• SETU Arena, Waterford

• University Sports Arena, Limerick
