Peace Proms 2027 — Dates Announced

Peace Proms is a free music and peace programme for primary schools across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Presented by the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, Peace Proms engages over 35,000 children in 700 primary schools each year.

The highlight of the programme is a series of spectacular large-scale concerts featuring up to 3,000 choir members and our full symphony youth orchestra, held in major arenas across the island of Ireland.

We are thrilled to announce that Peace Proms 2027 dates have now been confirmed. Schools can register now to secure their place in the upcoming season.

The programme is completely free for all participating schools. Schools receive a full choir resource pack, professional rehearsal tracks, and access to regional workshops led by our conductor Greg Beardsell — all before taking to the stage in a major arena concert in Spring 2027.

How it works

Step 1 — In-school learning (September to November): Children learn up to 8 songs with their teachers using the free choir pack and rehearsal tracks provided by Peace Proms.

Step 2 — Regional workshops (November to December): Each school attends one regional workshop led in person by our conductor Greg Beardsell.

Step 3 — The Peace Proms concert (January to March): Your school choir takes to the stage alongside the full Cross Border Orchestra and top soloists in a spectacular arena concert.
